With some Summer weddings lined up over the coming months I’ve been trying to find the perfect Wedding guest outfit that isn’t going to make me swelter in this ongoing heatwave we appear to be having here in the UK. I came across this gem from H&M and it’s ticked all the boxes!
The pastel floral print just screams Summer with the lightweight crêpe fabric making it perfect for these hot, humid Summer days/nights. It’s definitely breezy enough to refrain myself from melting, with a concealed side zip, tiny adjustable straps and a lined top which means I can go braless woo (lets face it, who can be dealing with that extra layer of fabric in this heat)! The lace up detail at the back is a nice touch to such a simple dress. The pleats fall in all the right places and being calf length makes it wedding appropriate! It’s on the more pricey side for H&M but nothing a cheeky lil online discount code couldn’t handle (I found a 15% off code so keep your eyes peeled online). I will be wearing this next weekend to a Wedding Reception (I’ll be sure to take some photo’s of how I style it).
My love for tassle earrings hasn’t ended yet. I couldn’t help but pick up 2 more pairs on a recent trip to Matalan and you’d never believe they were just £5 each! The neutral colours mean they go with pretty much every outfit. I particularly love the white mother of pearl discs giving them a more beachy vibe.
On a recent trip to Cardiff to see Ed Sheeran, I couldn’t help but have a quick wander around the City Centre (you can’t go to Cardiff and not shop!) I was in need of a beach bag for an upcoming holiday and this was everything I wanted & more.
It’s so simple, yet so statement, with the rope handles being a winner for me! I picked this up in TK Max for just £9.99. What a steal!
The Primark in Cardiff was SO good! I’m really into the bandana/headband trend atm and wanted to pick up another in paisley print. I love this rust shade which compliments my tan if I do say so myself! They’re great for when you want your mane away from your face, whilst still looking fashionable. (TIP: I’ve also been tying my silk head scarfs into a knot around my bust and creating a lil crop top out of them; teamed with denim shorts on the beach on holiday they make a great alternative cover up!
Last but not least, I was on the hunt for a Summer hat that didn’t drown me (I swear I have the same size pea head as when I was a child!). I am IN LOVE with this straw hat from Primark which looks so much more expensive than it’s price tag of just £5. It’s identical to the Zara one which every blogger/Youtuber seems to have for a fraction of the price!
What Summer trends are you guys loving right now? I’d love to know!
